Mr. Campbell is an associate professor in multimedia journalism in the Department of Communications at Brigham Young University. He teaches media writing, journalism principles, and research courses. He holds a master’s degree from Ohio State University and a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University. He actively researches First Amendment and Freedom of Information issues and is past president of the National Freedom of Information Coalition and past chairman of the Society of Professional Journalists. He writes a weekly column about open government for the Salt Lake Tribune.
