Three proposed general retention schedules were heard by the State Records Committee today. Each of these general schedules were previously posted on this blog for your input.
The Cemetery Records schedule was approved, with the change in title to “Cemetery Management Records”. Burial Records was approved with no changes. Transitory Tracking Records was approved with the understanding that Appointed Records Officers are responsible for ensuring their agencies use the schedule correctly.
Grievance and Discipline Records, as well as Legal Counsel Records, will be presented to the State Records Committee on May 14th.
