“Building Trust Through Transparency”

The Utah Division of Archives and Records Service is excited to announce the second annual Open Government Conference.  Come and learn why transparency matters and how to work together for a better open government.

Our guest speakers include:

Kenneth Williams, State Archivist 

Ric Cantrell, Attorney General Chief of Staff 

Dan Petersen, Unified Fire Authority 

Heather Anderson-Bostock, communication professional 

Jessica Miller, Salt Lake Tribune Reporter 

Rosemary Cundiff, Government Records Ombudsman 

Two panel discussions will also take place. One of these will focus on the State Records Committee and its functions. The second will concern the state’s transparency websites.

Cost: This event is free and available for in person or online participation.

Registration: Appointed records officers may register by visiting our website and selecting “Register for In-Person & Online Training.”  Registration instructions are also available on the Open Records Portal’s “Help Center.”
