Access the certification test (State employees)
For Records Officers
Go to the Records Officer Hub.
Log in to Utah ID as prompted.
Select Take Certification Test:
Records officers who are state employees are automatically logged in to the Utah Learning Portal, with the Records Officer Certification Course assigned to them.

If you leave the test before completing it, your progress will be saved and you can resume the test at any time.
Once you’ve answered the questions and submitted your test, you’ll receive your score:
You can view more details about your test at any time by going to the course in the Utah Learning Portal and clicking on View Results:
You can view the answers you selected on the assessment by clicking the down arrow to the right of “View Results” and selecting View Answers:
When you pass the test (which requires a score of at least 75% correct), you’ll receive an email confirming that you passed, along with a certificate of achievement:
State employees who are not records officers have access to the Utah Learning Portal, but do not have the Records Officer Certification Course assigned to them. To access the course, log in to the Utah Learning Portal and search for “Records Officer Certification Course”:
