Here by popular demand, a new publication has been added to the Retention Schedule page of our website! The publication, “General Schedule Updates”, is an appendix that lists all new, edited, or obsolete General Schedules to date. Each schedule type (state, county, municipality, school district) is contained in this appendix twice: alphabetically by schedule name and numerically then by schedule number. We’ll be creating a new updates publication every six months with changes from the previous publication. We hope that this new bi-annual tool will help record officers more easily track the changes in the General Retention Schedule as our comprehensive updating project continues.
